London Ballroom Skating is about flow, rhythm, and skating together. We take ballroom skating and make it work on the streets, parks, open spaces and car park we actually have in London.
With few rinks and no local teachers, we taught ourselves by watching St. Louis ballroom skating videos online, copying what worked, and making up moves when we needed something new. That experimentation became the heart of our style — fast, grounded, and full of energy.
We run ballroom skating workshops in London, skate together, and build a welcoming roller skating community where anyone can learn, connect, and move with confidence.
We’re Londoners, partners, and skaters who love moving to music on wheels.
We didn’t come up through formal classes. Everything we know was discovered through trial and error, video tutorials, and plenty of practice together. What started as curiosity turned into a shared style — and then into a community.
We believe skating is better when it’s shared. You don’t need to be perfect. You don’t need to know all the steps. If you’re curious, open to learning, and enjoy moving with others, you’ll enjoy this community.

Our London ballroom skating isn’t just ballroom on wheels — it’s a style shaped by London streets and real surfaces.
We started with the core of ballroom skating — flow, rhythm, and partner connection — but outdoor skating demanded a new approach. On rough surfaces, we push and pull between partners to keep momentum, creating energy, speed, and grit. It’s faster than rink skating, alive, and full of character.
We mix in other dance styles like salsa, bachata, and swing to add texture, musicality, and creative options. That gives our skating structure when it needs clarity, and freedom when the music asks for expression.
This is ballroom skating unleashed for London — grounded, flowing, and built for wherever we can roll.
